There has been a lot of cooler-talk as of late as to if the Motorola Droid is worth the hype. Remember, this is the phone that directly targeted the Iphone as it’s benchmark in it’s commercials by saying “everything IDon’t, Droid does”.

Among other things, some of the selling points between the two:

  • IPhone has well over 93,000 apps vs. 10,000 for Droid
  • Droid offers multi-apping (run up to six apps at one time) vs. iPhone which is currently one at a time
  • AT&T (iPhone)  vs. Verizon (Droid)
  • Droid’s Keypad vs. iPhone’s Multi-touch

Check out the comparison chart and decide for yourself.

In response to Amazon, Barnes and Noble finally released their own e-book device called the Nook. The name is a bit awkward but the design is definitely slick. It even comes with two screens: One e-ink screen and another color touch-sensitive screen dedicated to navigation. Overall, it seams to be a very cool device but is it too little too late?

Unique Bedspread for a Worthy Cause
Ever wanted a bedspread that’s printed to look like a bunch of cardboard boxes taped together? Who hasn’t!? At 80 bucks a pop these are actually a great deal and go towards a great cause with 30% of the gross profits going to a UK charity for homeless people.
Of course, you’re going to have a lot of explaining to do if you try bringing a girl home. Namely, why there’s a homeless person sleeping in your room. I’m a drifter, okay!
