Yesterday we had the wonderful opportunity to present to the NYVideo group. It was a blast! Met some great people. Wish we had a chance to meet more. Overall, a great experience.
The Streamy Awards celebrates content, without regard to budget or provenance, and is designed to recognize the accomplishments of countless talented individuals who have contributed to the development of an open entertainment landscape. Last night we had a chance to join in the celebration of this event as a technology partner and met many of the movers and shakers who are driving this blooming industry. At PopScreen, we strive to better the web television landscape and hope to continue our support of this burgeoning new form of web programming.
Cool. Now that the PR stuff is taken care of, here’s the full scoop: We met Bud Bundy, the Umpa Lumpa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Epic Fu girl, The Guild Folks, saw old friends and made new ones, hung out with our pals Larry Kless and Mark Robertson, got a chance to do some team building, spent a lot of time in a Ford Explorer, had amazing Pho with cuts of filet mignon, waiting to meet up people we met at the Awards show after party, and now we’re ready to get back home to do more amazing work.
Today, we take some time off from our usual viral sensation programming to bring you the Streamy Awards’ Audience Choice Award. As a tech sponsor of the Streamy Awards we are happy to help support the evolution of web programming. So please take some time to check out cool web series programming from awesome producers.
