So what do companies do when they are in trouble, failing or just need to branch out into new markets? Well, this video discusses something called, “Resonance.” Resonance is all about finding “The Right Idea.” This right ideas can be just what a company needs to get itself out of the rut. But good ideas are more than just a light bulb moment they require a recipe and most companies often fail to encompass a few key elements.

Most companies push ideas along this mental framework:

Problem → Solution → Features → The Right Idea (Hopefully)

But while this is foundational to development there is another set of factors that also need to be included and which focuses on design in order to better implement. These other factors follow this roadmap:

Values → Aspirations → Experience → The Right Idea

By marrying the two sets, a company is able to better grasp just exactly what the Right Idea is.
